| Research plan objectives in English | The preservation, protection, processing of and research into the source base, reflecting the multicultural development of science and society in the Czech lands from the mid-18th century to the present, with a priority focus on the history of the Academy of Sciences, its predecessors and members. Participation in research into the conservation of documents in digital form; the preservation and protection of the digital heritage and work on electronic documentation of lasting archive value. Provision of access to archive documents and aids, their presentation online to link up "memory institutions" at an international level. Processing the codicological resources gathered in various cultural institutions in the Czech Republic and manuscript bohemica abroad as a part of the European cultural heritage. Preparation of publications and catalogue works on manuscripts of an official and non-official character with a priority focus on the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age. |
