| Project objectives in English | Research on the exercise of mediation in the system of the Czech penal justice should evaluate impact and effectiveness of mediation approaches for the offender, victim and community. It analyses also in what extent the general aims of the activity of Probation and mediation service are reached through mediation in the praxis, i.e. re-integration of offenders, the participation of victims and protection of community. The research should answer what are institutes of penal law within their application the mediation has been most often used by courts and state prosecutors. It also has to determinate the extent and character of cases toward them the mediation approaches are applied and their effectiveness from aspect of community, but also of the offender and victim. |
