| Project objectives in English | Books and registers of town taxes are an important source of knowelidge regarding the structure of medieval towns. 15 registers of the town's tax collections from 1425 to 1442, preserved at the State District Archive in Jihlava, allow to observe how the town's structure and overall resources altered during the Hussite revolution. This unique collection deserves to be made available in a publication. Work first took place on it (1952-1956) but only an introduction was publishedin Jihlava in the Hussite Revolution (1961) in which the resurces of the registers are not enough utilised. A card index is to be compiled for the publication. A town topography of Jihlava in the 1st half of the 15th century was created as an appendix to the publication. The plan of the town based on this has been repeatedly reprinted. It has been shown that the town topography has multiple uses, from town planning to the history of material culture so it would be of benefit to publish it separately. |
