| Project objectives in English | Relevant research will be focused on the development of relations between T. G. Masaryk and individual representatives and sympathizers of the National Party in Bohemia, on gaining insight into the position of T. G. Masaryk in Czech society and his role in contemporary academic, cultural and especially political life. It will follow struggles of Masaryk and other Realists to get involved in Czech political life and into the political system of Austria-Hungary. The major source of relevant information will be primary sources of documents. Also consulted will be other primary sources such as Masaryk's manuscript notes, Diaries of M. Červinková-Riegrová, the contemporary press, published memoirs, and other material. As the final product of relevant research will be the publication, containing a comprehensive study and the collection of mutual correspondence between T. G.
